winter canvas


Hi all!
Just finished this winter canvas.
Love the magical feel of first snow!
Blue skies, sun, snow...a perfect day for a long walk!

        Painted the canvas with modeling paste 
and sprinkled some ice-crystals and small beads on the wet paste.
Used Pion design papers from the collection, Grandma's schoolbook:

Red clover - 6x6" PD 2604

winter frame

Hi all!

Made this frame for my dear auzzie friend.
Thought she could use some 'winter' as she has tropical temperatures right now!lol

altered box and card

Hi all!

Today I want to share these two projects I made with the new Pion Design papers, Play Time.
First is this altered wooden box.
Did a lot of stamping and inking on this one.

guest designer at Pion Design

Hi all!

I'm so excited and honored to be asked as guest designer at Pion Design!
They are having the most gorgeous vintage papers and I just love working with them!
Check out all of the beautiful Pion papers collections here.
Today I want to share my first layout made with the brand new collection, Play Time.

I used modeling paste to create the background and
 sprinkled some embossing powder on the wet paste. 
Did the same on the Dusty Attic Wattle Blossom.
The dotted flowers were also made with these papers.

last x-mas cards

Hi all!

Here are the last ones.....promise!
Hope I didn't bore you too much?LOL




We had a lot of snow here this morning.
Yiscka was a bit nervous because she had her drivers exam this afternoon.
All that snow and slippery roads....
but all went very well and she now has her drivers license!!! I'm so proud of her! 
I bet she will be borrowing our car frequently!lol

winter page

Hi all!

Temperatures are dropping very fast here and it is getting colder and colder.
Maybe we get some snow this weekend! brrr....
Perfect weather to do some scrapping though!
Today a winter page with a photo of Yiscka many winters ago.

x-mas cards

Hi all!

My first x-mas cards this year.
Had a lot of fun making these!

For this one I used the negative from the mini Ornate Frame DA 0222 to make the bells.
Painted them white and glued some ice crystals on it.

november ATC challenge and swap

Hi all!

Here is my ATC for the november ATC challenge and swap at Dusty Attic.
Just love my cup of tea!
Made the background with some tissue papers. This tissue paper was used to dab some paint from an earlier project. Wrinkled it up and glued it on my ATC with some Mod Podge.


For this ATC I used the Dusty Attic Mini Tea Set DA 0410

birthday card

Hi all!

Another birthday card today.

The flowers are from dusty Attic chipboard.
Made them wet and peeled the three layers apart.
All the chippies were given a little touch of gesso.

Hi all!

A bit of sunshine on this dark,cold and rainy day!
Photo is of Tessa and taken at her birthday this year.
Didn't want to embellish it to much because I really love the way the background turned out.


Misting, masking, stitching and stamping, all the fun stuff!!
Made the pink and yellow flowers from some lovely thread I found the other day and these were my inspiration for this page.
